Happy New Year from PEAK!

Happy New Year from PEAK*!

Although 2020 has been difficult in ways we never could have anticipated, we feel hopeful that medical advances will help curb the COVID-19 pandemic so that in 2021, we will find ourselves returning to a safer, more socially fulfilling life. That includes seeing children return to school and to the extracurricular activities that bring them joy. While we recognize that conditions might worsen before they improve, PEAK sends you our warmest wishes for a better New Year.

Donations Needed

Generous donations from our community have enabled PEAK to award hundreds of scholarships to Pacheco students since 2011. These scholarships give children the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities of their choice: art classes, martial arts, music lessons, sports, and more. In 2020, we awarded only a handful of scholarships, mostly for individual music lessons, but we anticipate an enthusiastic return to organized sports in the coming year and will need help from the community to gather donations and equipment to help ensure the ongoing success of this program.

Please consider adding PEAK to your list of charitable, tax-deductible donations for 2020. Even a small contribution can go a long way, and 100% of your donation will fund extracurricular activities for children in need. If you choose to donate, address your check to Pacheco PTA/PEAK and mail it to the address below—or simply drop it off in the Pacheco office.

Supplies, Equipment, & More

If you have any new or gently used items to donate (soccer cleats, instruments, balls, etc.), please contact us to arrange a time/place to drop them off. All equipment donations are tax deductible, so you will receive a donation receipt for your records if you request one.

The PEAK program will continue to thrive thanks to the kindness and generosity of people like you. If you are interested in helping in other ways, feel free to contact us, and if you have friends who might be interested, please forward this email to them. On behalf of all of us who work to keep this program going, thank you for your generosity!
