The Mountain Air’s 6th Annual Event Raises Money for PEAK •
For every hike submitted online, The Mountain Air donates $20 dollars to PEAK, a local 501(c)(3) that promotes and provides extracurricular activities for underserved kids in San Luis Obispo. The Thorshov Family is a matching donor, and with their generous support, every submission is worth double!
Last year, in spite of some wet March weather, The Mountain Air received 315 hike submissions and raised a total of $18,900, thanks to matching donations from the Thorshov Family and the Sandlot Group of San Luis Obispo. This year, help us reach 400 hikes by spreading the word to your family and friends!
To record your hike, visit The Mountain Air and submit the online form. Only one hike submission per household is permitted, and all entries are due by March 31.

Partnership Helps Scholarship Recipients Develop Lifelong Skills and Build Confidence •
Central Coast Gymnastics Sports Center has proudly served families in San Luis Obispo since 1991. Our mission — We bring extraordinary values to every child’s life — guides everything we do. From babies to adults, we provide a safe, welcoming, and family-centered environment where children build resilience, confidence, and self-esteem, celebrating every milestone along the way.
CCG proudly supports PEAK and believes deeply in its mission to invest in local youth through access to extracurricular activities. Through our partnership, students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in gymnastics can experience the physical, social, and emotional benefits the sport offers.
CCG further supports these athletes by matching a portion of each recipient’s PEAK scholarship, helping ensure continued access to training and growth within our program.
At CCG, gymnastics is about more than learning skills — it is about shaping lives. We regularly watch children grow into confident, motivated individuals who learn perseverance, teamwork, and self-belief. Together with PEAK, we are creating opportunities that inspire young people, strengthen connections, and positively impact the San Luis Obispo community for years to come.

Proceeds from Valentine Bouquet Benefitted PEAK •
In February, Open Air Flowers donated 10% of proceeds from their Seasonal Designer’s Choice bouquet to PEAK. This romantic arrangement featured roses, orchids, tulips, and ranunculas in a white ceramic vase. Thank you!
